Adrenaline lovers will agree that rafting on the Tara river is a real adrenaline experience, especially the most attractive descent from the starting point on Brštanovica to the mouth of the Piva River in Tara, but adrenaline takes us further from the beaten track, all the way to the Sutjeska National Park, more precisely the Hrčavka Canyon, where we will leave our mark! In addition to rafting, cliff jumping and swimming will be necessary to conquer the Hrčavka canyon.
Welcome to our camp. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting around 6 pm. We will get to know each other better at the meeting with a welcome drink and hand you the room keys.
At 8 p.m., dinner is planned in our ethnic restaurant.
After breakfast, until 8 am there will be transport to our rafting camp where you will get rafting equipment (neoprene suit, neoprene boots, safety, helmet, safety vest, and paddle) and transport by jeep to Brštanovica, we reach the starting point for rafting on Tara, where the largest the number of descents down a river that is on the list of protected areas by UNESCO. Just before the descent, your river guide will hold a “briefing” where you will receive instructions on how to behave on the boat, and then you can row!
The most attractive rafting section on Tara stretches for about 20 km, from Brštanovica to Šćepan Polje. The time of the descent itself is variable and depends on several factors, the basis of which is the height of the water level, which is lower as the season progresses, and as a result, rafting is longer and can last three or more hours
During the rafting, we will take breaks for swimming and photography and visit the coldest tributary of the river Tara, the river Shipčanica. After the rafting, there is a shower and lunch.
After breakfast, we will pack the canyoning equipment and take seats in our vehicle to get a ride for one hour to the most beautiful place in Bosnia, Sutjeska National Park & Zelengora mountain. After we arrive at Hrcavka canyon, we will prepare you for the adrenaline adventure with detailed instructions on how to behave in the canyon and the equipment used.
Once the adventure starts, adrenaline will not be lacking for the next 3 to 4 hours. We decedent down the Hrčavka canyon and waterfall, rappelling 4 kilometers to the exit place, the village of Tođevac. Here we will overcome numerous obstacles, rocks, and natural pools. You will slide, swim, jump, and run. In certain moments we will also use rappelling equipment.
Since canyoning is an extreme sport that requires a large amount of energy, we will take a break halfway through the canyon in order to replenish our energy with energy drinks, dried fruits, and chocolates and successfully overcome all the obstacles that follow. After leaving the canyon in the village of Tođevac, a car will be waiting for us to return to the accommodation for a shower and lunch.
Around 16:00 after lunch, your arrangement ends.
